Child's draft law

In 2011, Civil Association "Society and Values" has undertaken several actions to alert the public and the media about the dangers of the draft law for the child, namely putting the children at risk and violating the parents' rights. As a result, other civil organizations and parents' movements had  joined with civil actions that seven months later resulted in the suspension of the draft law.

In 2010 Society and Values Association held a series of civil actions against the introduction of compulsory primary education from 5 years old and the whole day (full time) education.
The Association issued a formal letter to the government, launched a petition, participated in a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, submitted a proposal to the government to conduct a broad public discussion, held a press conference and participate in the media. Due to the civil action the high fines for parents dropped, while the compulsory education for five-year-olds was accepted.
In February 2012 the Association issued a position against the introduction of compulsory education from the age of 4.
In February and March 2008 SVA came up with a position and participated in public hearings on the proposal for compulsory teaching Religion in the schools.
