Submission of ten Bulgarian civil non-profit non-government associations to the 50th Session of the Human Rights Council’s Universal Periodic Review Working Group

This report illustrates how the amendments to Art. 11 (2) of the Pre-school and School Education Act of Bulgaria are necessary in recognizing and protecting parents’ rights to be primarily responsible for their children’s education and upholding Bulgaria’s human rights obligations under international law. The report also shows the need for such changes to protect kindergarten and school children from information of an ideological nature.
